The Johto games and Kanto games have a small storyline. You nearly do the same in each one of the games.
You are given the choice to pick one out of three Pokemon. After you pick yours, your rival steals one
from the lab. You will battle your rival throughout the game.
In Crystal, you are able to choose your characters gender. This is the first time that was allowed. But, new additions aside, Crystal is no different in
the storyline; it only has three different things: Suicune incident, Unown incident, and Battle Tower.
