The Beginning of Arceus (well, Mario Network):

In August of 2008, I felt bored and decided to learn HTML. The past times I tried to learn HTML were failures, as it was flustering to learn when you're constantly grounded and things. So, amazingly, I went to a good learning place and learned it in a snap. I learned most of the language in less than a day.

I had no use for this skill, until I thought to make website. And so I did. A day later, I coded what was a simple background and table with gold links. The links linked to Mario and Zelda websites, such as:

Zelda Temple
Zelda Universe (Unofficial)
Zelda Universe (Official)

The site was called Mario Network. Yes, it was a Mario site.

It couldn't do, so I redid it. Once again, I kept adding, subtracting and making images for it. Then, I wanted to make it official, so I looked for a free host with no advertisements. You can guess this: failure. It was about a week before I stopped searching and had an idea: get hosting from my favorite website! So, I went to Zelda Temple and E-Mailed Judai/Shrukan, the owner, and respective maker of the layout, and asked for hosting.

It was but a day before an answer, and the answer was yes. To make the long span in time short, I got the site uploaded, Judai gave me a lot of pointers, and it eventually came to remaking of 3 or 4 layouts. I did make a few pieces of content, which were just .txt files. BUT, in the third layout, a better idea came to mind: Pokemon.

After seeing the 119 games Mario has been in, I stopped Mario and changed to Pokemon. Less work, and more topics! It was perfect and a big surprise to a few people!

October, A Fresh Start

On October 5, Judai finished a layout I asked for. It was perfect! The layout is currently up. It was my choice to make it a fresh start, and the official first layout, due to it being a long term one. The others were temporary, inaffective and boring. This one is perfect! It took a day to make because she had Photoshop, Dreamweaver and HTML and CSS skills. She is currently learning PHP for the sake of it! (If you want to, you can look through the coding and look for some PHP. The idea came from her and in this layout, she used it instead of the annoying long coding!)

A two months after the layout was finished, I noticed that the coding was messed-up. There were tons of mistakes in every page. It was time to Validate the XHTML and CSS. Validating code is to get a better chance of being found on a Search Engine. The less coding mistakes, the larger chance. By fixing the code, I got more people coming from Google. It was very helpful.

Judai has pulled off one thing I was trying to do for a month: make spam messages on the comments go away. She injected some PHP code, made a new "add comment" form and successfully made the perfect form. Alongside that, she made the new CuteNews layout, commissioned around a month ago. As of now (November 14), a ton of content has been made by yours truly. I thank Judai for giving me the rest of the legendary Pokemon information. She has pulled this site together, and practically made it herself.

Layouts of Past and Present

Although I do not have the past layouts, I have the current preview given to me by Judai long ago. It was before any actual coding came to and was he layout I officially called the first.
