Starting Off New.....
To start off the year anew, I got rid of old news. Lets all look back at some things that happened in '08.
Three movies were either announced or shown in America. Dialga Vs. Palkia Vs. Darkrai, was shown this year. Giratina and the Sky Bouquet was announced alongside an annoucement of an upcoming movie in Japan: Towards the Outcome of Space, which has no English name yet.
The Speed Gamers played most of the Pokémon games and collected 491 Pokémon in about 80 hours, all for the cause of Autistic treatment and care. The raised money went to an Autism fund; the amount raised was close to $6000.
A beloved voice actress died in December, on the 11th. Madeleine Blaustei was the voice actress for Meowth and a ton of other movies and shows. She died of a short illness.
Pokémon Platinum was announced and released in Japan on the 13th of September. It became the final game of the Sinnoh area. Pokémon Rangers: Shadows of Almia and My Pokémon Ranch were also released. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2, released in two versions was released in the US this year.
For the year of 2009, many things are expected:
Movie 11 will show in America for the first time. Movie 12 will show in Japan and decide whether this anomaly about a fifth-generation Pokémon being revealed was true. Pokémon Platinum will be released on March 22nd definitely.
