Home > Smash Bros. Appearances In Super Smash Bros. series a few Pokemon appear as fighters. Some are legendaries, most are normal. The Pokemon in all three games are Pikachu and Jigglypuff. They are typically called veterans'. Not only do Pokemon appear as fighters, but are summoned with the item called a Pokeball. You throw it and out comes a random Pokemon. The first Smash Bros. game ever, the Nintendo brings you the first and few Pokemon to be shown in multi-battle, 3-D style. Since only 151 Pokemon were made at the time, not very many took their place in this game. Kanto was the only region at the time.
